Wine tasting in Cable Bay, Waiheke, New Zealand .

So it was a wine tasting time today, i went to Cable Bay that is one of the finest Wine yard in Waiheke Island and they are famous for its Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Pinot, Syarah Waiheke quality of grapes as printed and they made me taste five wines in order of low tannin to hard tannin, so Sauvignon Blanc which is the first one has low Tannin and last one Syarah is having higher Tannin and it is the darkest wine and Sauvignon Blanc is kind of white wine you can say.

There is no sugar in any wines so this is a misconception. Second thing Why they keep wine bottle horizontal is because in olden days they used to use cork to lock the bottle and to keep the cork humid, they had the practice to keep Wine Bottle Horizontal but nowdays there are threaded neck, so its not necessary now to keep the wine bottle horizontal.

Other thing is almost all the wines are dry varying between degree extremly dry or lower dry could be citrus because its passion food and stuff or it could be frooti because more of berries and black berries. All in all it was very interesting experience , i put pictures in terms of Wineyards and how they store the wine in drums. Newzealand is greater produccer of wine but in terms of production share its not very high. Australia is one of the very high volume producer of wine. All in all it was an interesting experience.
